About the job
The CISO Office is responsible for the information and cybersecurity of Swiss Life Switzerland as well as its subsidiaries and sister companies. In this context, we are looking for you as an experienced personality for the role of CISO of the sister company aXenta AG – with the clear mandate to strategically and operationally significantly shape and further develop the maturity level of information security.
Embedded in the information security team of the CISO Office of Swiss Life Switzerland and closely connected professionally, you take on a versatile key role at aXenta AG with high personal responsibility and direct impact on the organization. Due to the company size, you act pragmatically, prioritize effectively, and implement topics purposefully.
Your area of responsibility
- In this role, you bear overall responsibility for information security and continuously develop strategy, ISMS, and the internal control system
- You lead IT risk management and ensure the effective implementation of policies, standards, and processes
- You comprehensively manage audit and assurance topics (especially ISAE 3402) and ensure high quality in evidence management and documentation
- As the central contact person for customers, RfPs, and audits, you represent the company confidently in security-related matters and report appropriately to management and the CISO of Swiss Life Switzerland
- You manage security operations and security tests, accompany architecture and transformation projects from a security perspective, are responsible for vendor management, and conduct training; additionally, you actively contribute to selected topics and projects of the CISO Office of Swiss Life Switzerland
Your strengths
- You have a university degree in IT security, computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
- You work in a structured manner, prioritize effectively, and find pragmatic solutions with a clear business focus
- You bring several years of professional experience of at least five years in information security or a similar function
- You have solid knowledge of common frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, COBIT, or CIS Controls and apply them practically
- You communicate confidently at the management level and convince through clarity, reliability, and strong implementation skills
