Team Leader

Are you looking for a challenging leadership position in the heart of Zurich where you can optimally combine strategic responsibility and team development? As a team leader in the Building Office of the Canton of Zurich, you are jointly responsible with 7 employees for an extensive portfolio in the area of security and administration from SIA phase 21 to 53.

Your tasks

• Personnel management, support and development of the approximately seven-member team as a strategic sparring partner
• Overall responsibility for the planning and realisation of building projects in the areas of security and administration
• Representation of the client’s interests vis-à-vis internal (owner-user representation etc.) and external partners (planners, contractors and authorities from preliminary study to commissioning)
• Interface communication between different, demanding stakeholders as well as targeted implementation of customer needs
• Active participation and strategic further development of the entire department as well as the Building Office of the Canton of Zurich

Your profile

• University degree as an architect or engineer (ETH, FH)
• Experience in personnel management and development of employees
• High team spirit, empathy as a sparring partner as well as assertiveness in conveying specialist knowledge
• Sound, long-standing experience in project management/client representation
• Strong communication skills in dealing with different, demanding stakeholders, customers and partners
• Ability to implement complex portfolios (security and administration) in a goal- and solution-oriented manner and to develop organisations
