We are looking for dedicated and qualified employees for our shop floor in various areas within the Piece Part Repair department at Zurich Airport. If you feel challenged by this opportunity, we look forward to your application as an employee in robotic welding.
As an employee in robotic welding, your tasks include:
- Operating and monitoring robot-assisted welding systems for the repair and manufacture of aircraft components
- Performing welding work according to approved repair data, work instructions, and technical drawings
- Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and documentation requirements of the aviation industry
- Setting up and adjusting fixtures, tools, and programmes for different component types
- Early detection of process deviations, conducting simple fault analyses, and escalating when necessary
- Contributing to continuous improvement processes, for example to reduce rework and scrap, as well as supporting Lean and 5S initiatives
Your profile
- Completed vocational training in welding, metalworking, mechanics, or mechatronics
- Experience with robot-assisted or automated welding processes
- Ability to confidently read and understand technical drawings and work instructions
- Strong awareness of quality, safety, and compliance
- Ideally experience in the aviation industry, MRO environment, or other regulated production areas
- Knowledge of handling industrial robots is an advantage
- Structured, precise, and independent working style as well as strong team and communication skills; English skills at least at B1 level, German skills are an advantage
