General Terms and Conditions
1.
Scope of Application
The restaurant OLD TRAM DEPOT belongs to Altes Tramdepot Brauerei Restaurant AG. These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as GTC) regulate the legal relationship between the guests and Altes Tramdepot Brauerei Restaurant AG for events with pre-ordered services in the restaurant OLD TRAM DEPOT.
2.
Offer, Definitive Reservation
For events, we prepare an offer according to your wishes. The consideration period is limited according to the offer (max. 14 days). All offered rooms, areas/zones, or capacities are considered provisionally reserved for you during this time. After the consideration period expires, the restaurant OLD TRAM DEPOT is free to pass the offered services on to other interested parties.
For a definitive reservation, please send us back the attachment of the offer "Definitive Reservation" signed. By doing so, you agree to the offer and these GTC.
IMPORTANT: If a deposit is requested according to point 2.3, the payment must be transferred within 3 working days after receipt of the invoice. Your event is only considered definitive upon receipt of payment. Afterwards, we confirm your event and the receipt of the deposit. If the deposit is not made on time, our offer and the contained proposal expire.
2.1
Estimated Total Amount
For banquets, the following amounts per person (including VAT) are calculated:

Prices for seminars, room rentals, and other services are stated in the offer.
2.2
MUG | Minimum Turnover Guarantee
For exclusive use of our hall on the 1st floor, a minimum turnover guarantee of CHF 2,000.00 applies on Fridays & Saturdays from 5:00 p.m.
Exclusively November & December:
Wednesday
CHF 4,000.00
Thursday - Saturday
CHF 5,000.00
This amount applies to consumption of food and drinks [including VAT].
If the MUG is not reached, the difference will be charged as rental expense.
2.3
Deposit
For events from AU persons, we require a deposit between October 1 and January 31. We charge 50% of the estimated total amount (2.1) or 50% of the required MUG (2.2) as a deposit. The amount to be paid is indicated in the offer. A deposit is non-refundable if the event is canceled but can be credited to another event of the organizer within 280 days. After this period, the deposit expires.
Please also note the cancellation conditions in point 11. (11.1-11.4) below.
2.4
Extraordinary Situation / Force Majeure
If an event cannot be held by the restaurant OLD TRAM DEPOT due to an extraordinary situation or force majeure, it can be postponed up to a maximum of 280 days without cancellation costs. A deposit will be credited 100% to the alternative event date. After this period, the deposit expires.

Detailed Agreement
The earlier we are informed about your ideas for the event, the better we can implement them. Our sales department is happy to assist you with wishes and questions. Please note that you must inform us by phone or email at least 7 working days before your event of the following information: e _Food and drink selection (uniform menu possibly with a vegetarian option in the main course)
Number of persons for meals [including number of vegetarian menus]
Schedule [for banquets including speeches, shows, or similar]
Payment method and, if applicable, exact billing address
Other important information from your side
Short-term changes to confirmed services (menu, seating, etc.) cannot be guaranteed and may result in additional costs.
4.
Menu Choice
Please decide on a uniform menu. Of course, you may choose a vegetarian option for the main course.
5.
Changes in Number of Persons
The number of persons stated in the offer serves as the basis for calculating the estimated total turnover. The definitively reported number of persons [7 working days prior] is the basis for purchasing, production, and planning and will be charged. Changes in the number of persons of up to 10% are accepted up to 2 days before the event. For 1 day or less, changes of 5% are possible for pre-ordered menus; for aperitif and seminar packages, no adjustments are granted less than 48 hours before the event.
6.
Seating
Our head of service decides, depending on the season, weather, and your definitive number of persons, where the event will take place. If rooms have been fixedly confirmed, this point does not apply.

General Conditions
Delays of more than half an hour must be reported to our sales department or the head of service. Otherwise, we are entitled to charge you for the additional personnel costs incurred.
Sticking on walls and windows in the rooms is not permitted. For hanging posters, placards, objects, etc., we are happy to provide technical aids.
8.
Liability
The restaurant OLD TRAM DEPOT generally rejects liability for damage or loss of items owned by guests or third parties. Their insurance against damage and/or loss is the responsibility of the guests or third parties.
The liability of the restaurant OLD TRAM DEPOT for property damage culpably caused by staff during the event remains reserved.

Prices All prices are listed in Swiss Francs, including the statutory VAT rate.
The offered prices do not include technical support. Price changes are reserved.
10.
Payment Terms
A deposit will be deducted from the final amount. For the remaining amount or the total amount [without deposit], we accept the following payment methods: cash, Maestro, Postcard, all common credit cards, or payment by invoice. The organizer undertakes to pay an invoice within 30 days of the invoice date without deduction.
Individual collection is not possible for events.
10.1
Payment Terms for New Customers Abroad
Before the event, we will send you an advance payment invoice. This is payable no later than 30 days before the event.
Invoice basis: 80% of the expected menu or seminar turnover. Once the deposit amount has been received by us, the event will be confirmed by us.
