The Brühlgut Foundation accompanies and promotes people with disabilities and offers them 127 residential places, 302 work and employment places, as well as around 40 training places in Winterthur. It operates an occupational and physiotherapy center for people from infancy to adulthood, as well as three integrative daycare centers.
Learner: Professional Caregiver EFZ in the Disability Sector from August 2026
Professional caregivers EFZ support and promote people with disabilities in their daily lives. The goal is to strengthen the clients in their resources and support them in leading a self-determined life as much as possible. During the training period, various stations in the residential area and in the daycare centers will be completed to gain a comprehensive insight.
The official application process for the three-year training starting in August 2026 begins this summer. We will be happy to contact you from summer/autumn 2025.
HOW?
As Learner: Professional Caregiver, you work in a residential group or in a workshop. You accompany and support the residents of the residential groups in their daily lives or the employees of the workshops in their activities.
- You help shape the leisure activities of the residents and assist with everyday tasks, such as household chores.
- You support, if necessary, with personal care.
- You promote the residents in their personal development and self-determination in all areas of social life.
- You guide the employees of the workshops in their activities and support them in implementing work assignments.
