Whether experienced construction foreman, certified construction forewoman or ambitious bricklayer with leadership talent: With us you take responsibility as Site Manager or Site Manageress in Building Construction. You lead your team with foresight, organise the construction site confidently and also pick up the tools yourself when it matters. Exciting projects in new construction, conversion and renovation in the Emmental region, a motivated team and a structured working environment where your expertise is in demand await you.
These are the tasks
- Preparation of the construction site: providing plans, setting safety precautions and marking work areas
- Independent site management and supervision
- Task distribution as well as care and leadership of the site personnel
- Economic deployment planning as well as organisation of materials, machines and equipment
- Carrying out all master builder tasks in building construction (new construction, conversion and renovation): constructing brick and natural stone masonry, performing concrete and formwork work, installing steel rods, applying insulation and plastering, assembling prefabricated elements, excavating trenches, laying pipes and cables, demolition work as well as listed buildings
- Supporting the training of our apprentices
- Ensuring timely, high-quality construction execution and enforcing occupational safety measures
These are your skills and strengths
- A completed apprenticeship as a bricklayer with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ)
- Further training as a certified construction foreman and/or certified construction forewoman or on the way to it
- Organisational skills, independence and enjoyment of team leadership
- A responsible, team-oriented and resilient personality
- Driving licence category B, ideally also BE
