Operational Buyer
Purpose of the position:
You will be responsible for the procurement of the materials and suppliers assigned to you, ensuring optimal management of the materials to guarantee smooth production.
Tasks:
Management and monitoring of materials, inventory, and deliveries; ensuring optimal stock levels and readiness
Maintenance of master data in SAP as well as checking, approval, and clearing of invoices and order confirmations
Processing of returns, delivery notes, quality notifications, and orders (accounted and normal)
Monitoring supplier performance and communication in case of deviations
Preparation of reports and deputizing for colleagues during absences
Your profile:
Must-Haves:
Technical or commercial basic training
Experience in logistics or procurement
Technical experience is an advantage
Experience with Office applications and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
German: very good knowledge; English: good knowledge
Confidence, initiative, flexibility, motivation
Responsible, disciplined, respectful, team player
Communicative, willing to learn, assertive, motivating
Nice-to-Haves:
- At least 2 years of experience in purchasing
- Experience in production planning or further training in process specialist
- Strong numerical understanding / flair for numbers
