We are looking for a
Event Sales Specialist – Catering (m/f/d)
Your tasks and responsibilities
- Active acquisition of new customers as well as support and expansion of existing customer relationships
- Consulting customers on catering and event concepts, menu suggestions, and additional services
- Development of individual catering solutions for corporate events, private events, and large-scale events
- Preparation of offers, calculations, and contracts
- Planning and coordination of all event details in close cooperation with kitchen, service, logistics, and external partners
- Conducting sales talks, presentations, and location visits
- Support and quality control at important events on site
- Identifying market and event trends to further develop the product portfolio
- Participation in trade fairs, promotions, and networking events
- Maintenance and management of customer data in the CRM system
Your profile
- Completed training or studies in event management, hospitality, gastronomy, or similar fields
- Experience in the event or catering industry, ideally in sales
- Confident appearance and strong communication and consulting skills
- Creative sense for event design and catering concepts
- High organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Confident handling of MS Office and ideally CRM tools
- Flexibility regarding working hours, e.g., for evening or weekend events
