What is my role?
This position offers you the opportunity to apply and further develop your expertise in simulations. In addition to complex structural mechanics and fluid dynamics issues, you will work on innovative preliminary development projects and be responsible for physical simulation scopes in the field of structural mechanics and fluid dynamics. This particularly includes the following activities:
Support of product development/maintenance with validated simulation methods
Consulting production plants and sales companies on structural mechanics and fluid dynamics issues
Leading innovative preliminary development projects
Automation of simulation activities
Collaboration with external partners as well as supervision of interns and master’s students
What do I need to be successful?
You have a university degree (preferably a doctorate) in physics, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or a comparable field. In addition, you are characterised by the following qualities and skills:
Extensive professional experience in virtual development (Ansys Mechanical, Ansys Fluent, Ansys CFX)
Proficient in Python, Linux, HPC
In-depth experience in experimental methodology and data analysis
Team player with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
