The Office for Monument Preservation provides services for the canton, municipalities, planners, property owners, and the public on issues of protection worthiness, handling, preservation, securing, and research of historically valuable buildings, townscapes, as well as church art objects.
For the coordination and implementation of a project to update our inventory database of church art, we are looking for an intern immediately or by arrangement
Your tasks:
- Coordination and implementation of a project to modernize an inventory database
- Digitization and recording of image material
- Data cleansing and maintenance
- Collaboration in the area of inventory and maintenance of church art and cultural objects
- Collaboration in the area of cultural property protection
You bring with you:
- Studies in art history, history, or conservation and restoration, preferably combined with information sciences
- Interest in church art
- Careful working method and ability to work in a team
- First experience with databases and digitization processes is an advantage
