FundPartner Solutions (FPS) offers a comprehensive range of fund administration and bespoke fund creation services. Its teams of specialists bring their expertise in fund domiciliation, registration and governance, as well as risk management and compliance monitoring of investment guidelines.
As Fund Administration Manager, you oversee the overall supervision of Swiss law investment fund administration activities, ensuring the quality, compliance and efficiency of processes. You are the point of contact for operational and governance requests related to funds, coordinate delegated activities, and support internal and external clients in the design and implementation of new funds. You play a key role in supervising operations, including the valuation of illiquid assets (Private Equity), and in the development of control tools and methods.
Your Role
- Supervise the net asset value (NAV) calculation process, carry out appropriate checks and oversee delegated operations.
- Ensure the valuation of investments including alternative assets and supervise delegated preparatory activities.
- Control and validate fees, charges and dividends applied to funds, in accordance with prospectuses and contracts.
- Prepare and review annual and semi-annual fund closings, critically review accounts, propose necessary adjustments.
- Organise and monitor fund audits (internal and external), coordinate exchanges with auditors, respond to their requests.
- Coordinate and validate the issuance of regulatory and financial reports, ensure their distribution to stakeholders (FINMA, clients, Board).
- Manage all routine operations at the level of funds under administration (in-kind contributions or withdrawals, flows with the transfer agent, etc).
- Monitor SNB statistics and ensure the compliance of transmitted data.
- Follow up on fund taxation, check declarations and refund requests, participate in coordination with tax authorities.
- Process and monitor the company’s financial accounts.
- Provide operational support to various internal and external company departments and follow up on client requests.
- Be the point of contact and follow-up for all operational and governance requests addressed to fund management, both from internal clients (Pictet) and external clients (third-party funds).
- Support clients in the design and structuring of new funds, providing advisory insight and technical expertise.
- Lead and support projects to automate tools and controls, propose developments to enhance process efficiency and security.
- Contribute to maintaining corporate governance and participate in preparing reports for management committees and the Board of Directors.
Your Profile
- University degree in finance, accounting, economics or equivalent training.
- At least 8 years’ proven experience in audit, fund administration or a similar role in the banking/financial sector.
- Proven experience in team management and leading automation or tool/process development projects.
- Strong operational and technical knowledge of funds (accounting, taxation, NAV calculation process, pricing, reporting, internal control).
- Good understanding of Swiss and international regulations applicable to funds (LPCC, LEFin, LSFin, etc.).
- Fluency in French (working language), excellent command of English (written and spoken), German is an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and fund management systems (Avaloq, Multifonds, etc. is a plus).
- Rigour, precision, organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactivity, autonomy, problem-solving ability and capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team spirit, ability to collaborate with different departments and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Intellectual curiosity, learning ability, initiative and client orientation.
- Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate.
