Person for the Sexton and House Service

The Evangelical Reformed Church Community of Volketswil has around 4,300 members, to whom we are close in their diversity. At the end of 2025, our sexton will leave us to take on a new challenge. With the new appointment, you form an important interface. You are part of a motivated team.

Your tasks include: 

• Care of the properties
• Cleaning work as well as outdoor work
• Control and operation of technical systems such as video, audio, and lighting technology
• Preparation and follow-up of rooms for reservations of own and external events  
• You prepare the church for services and ceremonies
• You are the host in the church
• Mutual substitution

We expect for this interesting activity: 

• High teamwork skills
• Membership in the Reformed Church of the Canton of Zurich is desirable
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Manual skills
• Very good knowledge in handling electronic devices, technical equipment, and Office applications
• Willingness to continue education
• Interest in the church life of our church community
• Enjoyment in contact with guests and visitors
