Summary of responsibilities:

Reporting to the 1st Hotel Steward or the Palmeraie Manager, the essential responsibilities and functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service
• Participate in the setup, service, and clearing of banquet/breakfast rooms
• Be responsible to the superior for assigned tasks
• Treat all customers with respect and courtesy
• Serve customers according to their expectations
• Ensure customers lack nothing
• Actively participate in cleaning tasks within the department
• Stay informed about hotel events and participate in briefings before events
• Strive to perfect technical and theoretical knowledge to ensure perfect service for demanding clientele
• Learn LQA technical and emotional standards and apply them
• Participate in a performance review with the superior once during the internship
• Maintain excellent contact with colleagues
• Commit to the quality of service, discretion, and perfect honesty
• Maintain a professional attitude, be smiling, and remain calm at all times
• Be flexible and cooperative in all circumstances, especially if required to work occasionally in another department
• Respect ergonomic work standards, health & safety rules, hygiene, and sanitary regulations
• Respect department and company policies, procedures, and service standards
• Perform any other assigned tasks

• Internship as part of hotel training
• Mastery of the French language
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Knowledge of a third language is an asset
• Ability to work in a team
• Flexibility and initiative
• Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and handle last-minute changes

The physical requirements of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Constant: standing and walking throughout the work period

VISA REQUIREMENTS

To work in Switzerland, the candidate must have a Swiss work permit or be from an EU-17 or EU-8 European country.
