Swimming Rules - Swimming Supervision

The swimming supervision is carried out by our lifeguards. Their instructions must always be followed. On busy days, additional lifeguards from the SLRG Pfäffikon are on duty. However, swimming at the lido is fundamentally at your own risk.

The swimming supervision focuses on recognisably unusual and dangerous behaviour. The risk associated with the usual and apparently normal use of the water is borne by the visitors or their supervisors themselves. You must use the facility in such a way that you do not endanger yourself or others.

Swimming aids, especially armbands, are only permitted in the designated non-swimmer areas in the lake, in the non-swimmer pool, and in the paddling pool. "Safety aids" for distance swimmers in the lake are permitted.

Children who cannot swim require constant supervision by adults or accompanying persons. Therefore, guardians must ensure that such children only visit the Baumen lido when accompanied and under constant observation or supervision by adults.
