We are looking for a shift supervisor (m/f/d) to complement our team and lead a day shift in production and assembly, ensuring smooth daily operations and consistently implementing quality, safety, and efficiency in everyday work together with your team. Endress+Hauser Flow is the product centre for flow measurement technology and solutions around fluid management and is located at the Reinach campus in Switzerland.
What is the role about?
Would you like to design processes so that quality, deadlines, and quantities are reliably achieved in daily business? Are you motivated to drive improvements on the shop floor while living safety and TPM as a matter of course?
In this role, you combine leadership, operational responsibility, and continuous improvement in a day shift environment and ensure together with your team that our products are reliably produced every day.
What tasks will you take on?
You will:
- Lead 9 to 12 employees (2-shift operation) in the day shift, including conducting employee discussions and participating in recruitment.
- Ensure operational daily business and guarantee faultless production and assembly as well as efficient resource planning.
- Bear responsibility for compliance with quality and safety regulations and implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
- Ensure adherence to target specifications regarding quality, deadlines, and quantities.
- Actively drive the continuous improvement process (CIP) within the shift.
What do we expect from you?
You:
- Have completed a basic technical education and ideally further training as a leadership specialist, master craftsman qualification, or a comparable qualification.
- Bring initial leadership experience in an industrial environment.
- Are proficient in MS Office and SAP; knowledge of lean management is desirable.
- Speak German very well; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Are flexible, work independently, and value interaction with people.
