Process Analytics is a division within the METTLER TOLEDO Group and a leading provider of field instruments for the analysis of liquids and gases in the process industry. At our site in Urdorf, we develop and produce high-quality sensors for controlling production processes, which we distribute worldwide through our own market organisations. We are looking for a responsible and assertive individual to ensure occupational safety and health protection in Urdorf as Safety Officer Occupational Safety & Health Protection 80 - 100% (all genders). In this role, you will undertake the following tasks: Advising and supporting management as well as line supervisors on all matters of occupational safety and health protection; professional leadership of the safety team of the production unit in Urdorf; planning, conducting and documenting safety inspections, safety walks and audits; planning and coordinating training on "Work with special hazards" in cooperation with line supervisors; organising and conducting training sessions, instructions and drills in the areas of evacuation, emergency and fire protection in cooperation with the SiBe fire protection officer; creating, updating and implementing risk assessments, risk analyses and protective measures using the PDCA cycle; ensuring compliance with legal requirements as well as company policies at the site; supporting the investigation of accidents and near-miss events as well as deriving and implementing appropriate measures.
