Mechanic 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Assembly, disassembly and replacement of door systems and door components on rail vehicles according to technical documents

• Mechanical adjustment work on door leaves, guides, thresholds, seals and hinges

• Installation and connection of door drives in cooperation with electrical/mechatronics

• Setting, adjusting and aligning the doors with regard to gap dimensions, running behaviour and tightness

• Carrying out functional tests and acceptance checks with documentation of the results

• Visual and dimensional inspections with common measuring instruments

• Repair and maintenance work: grinding, drilling, thread cutting, riveting and screw connections, replacement of wear parts

• Carrying out tightness tests on door areas

• Preparing and reworking components

• Support with prototype assemblies and series production

• Compliance with safety regulations, occupational health and safety guidelines and quality standards as well as documentation in the production system

• Participation in fault diagnosis and reporting of complex defects to specialist departments

What do I need to be successful?

• Training as an automotive mechanic, mechatronics technician or industrial mechanic

• At least 3 years of experience

• Commitment to safety and quality

• Physical resilience
