About the job
Clever mind with passion wanted – Working Student for Market Awareness, Events & Business Impact in Zurich (m/f/d)
Do you want to change something, do things a little differently and be directly involved in a company transformation? You don’t want to just run in the background somewhere, but work on topics that are visible and really make a difference? Then we are looking for you!
To support our Siemens Digital Industries Software team, we are looking for a working student in Zurich starting immediately.
Siemens Digital Industries Software is the software pillar of Siemens. We inspire, support, and advise our customers on all questions related to software – focusing on various industries, digital transformation, and the future of industry.
We want to further expand our communication, visibility, and presence – towards customers, partners, and employees. We want to bring relevant topics more strongly to the outside, co-create inspiring formats, and make the impact of our initiatives visible. That’s exactly why we are looking for support: creative, hands-on, thoughtful, and eager for real co-creation. This transformation lives from ideas, communication, implementation, and people who not only accompany things but also drive them forward. And that’s exactly why we are looking for you.
We, the DACH Strategic Markets Team, are part of The Power of #3 – WE LIVE SUCCESS. The #3 not only stands for our DACH region Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. It also stands for our focus on our customers, our partner landscape, and our employees. And the #3 stands for the way we behave and act: courageous, proud, and open.
This transformation is characterized by a variety of different measures, tasks, and ideas just waiting to be implemented. This cannot be done alone but only as a team! That’s why we are looking for support in our team. We are looking for YOU!
How you support us with your skills:
- You bring ideas to life: You support the development and implementation of Market Awareness activities for our DSM team. You contribute to creative formats, content, and measures that make our topics more visible. You help prepare presentations, overviews, and content in an appealing, modern, and understandable way.
- You actively shape communication: You support internal and external communication measures. You independently work on LinkedIn posts, short texts, team information, or other communication formats. You bring your own ideas on how we can convey content in a target group-oriented, relevant, and modern way to the outside.
- You support events and visible formats: You help prepare and accompany internal events, team formats, and selected external activities. You support organizational coordination so that good ideas become strong implementations. You contribute to ensuring that content, timing, and process work well together – and that formats are implemented professionally and effectively.
- You support operationally: Of course, organizational and administrative tasks also belong to this – for example, coordination, tracking to-dos, minor alignments, or operational support in daily team life. That’s what makes the role so exciting: You are not only involved in creative and visible topics content-wise but also see how ideas become real implementation.
- You gain insights into exciting strategic topics: You work at the interface of communication, events, market awareness, and business topics. You get insights into a dynamic environment and support tasks that have real impact in daily business. Depending on interest and strength, you can take on additional topics and actively shape your area. That is also possible.
Your profile:
- Your current field of study is secondary – what matters most to us is that you have an interest in communication, creative content, events, organization, and a dynamic business environment.
- You are currently in a bachelor’s program or at the beginning of your master’s program - – ideally with at least one to two years of remaining study duration so that we can sustainably build the role together. The role is designed as hybrid. This means: Part of the work can be done flexibly remotely, but regular presence on-site in Zurich is also important. Occasional on-site appointments, team alignments, and supportive assignments in the office therefore consciously belong to this role – travel may occur.
- You can ideally support us 20h/week.
- #courageous, to question things and ask critical questions.
- #proud of your actions and those of your friends, your family, your fellow students – your environment.
- #open, to do things differently sometimes.
We are looking for people with passion. People who inspire themselves and others. People who take action. You should enjoy social media activities and proactive communication. The willingness to learn new and unknown things (e.g., technical areas) is indispensable. Above all, you are a team player who is committed and walks through the world with open eyes.
