To complement our project team, we are looking for an assertive personality at the Aarau or Bremgarten location immediately or by arrangement as Overall Project Manager Large Projects.
Your tasks
- You are responsible for the high-quality and professional planning and implementation of complex large projects such as depots and maintenance facilities for buses and trains (e.g., WSB workshop)
- You develop real estate development projects (e.g., Bremgarten station, Schöftland station) as a side business and use promising opportunities to improve contribution margins (e.g., tenders, real estate)
- You lead participation in public tenders (e.g., new lines, etc.)
- You act as a competent and proactive contact and influencer with the federal government, canton, and municipalities within the framework of large projects to ensure AVA's interests
Your profile
- Dipl. Engineer ETH/SVI or Architect UNI/ETH
- Expertise and several years of professional experience in transport engineering, public procurement, and/or real estate development
- You are confident in the offer triangle of public transport (infrastructure, rolling stock, personnel)
- Several years of professional experience in project management including controlling and reporting of large projects
- You have diplomatic sensitivity and political compromise ability and are confident and persistent in negotiations
- You are well acquainted with the applicable processes, procedures, and dealings with the federal government, cantons, and municipalities
