Who are we?
The Directorate of Economy, Employment and Vocational Training DEEF is tasked with promoting and energising the canton’s economy, including in the tourism sector. It supports energy efficiency and renewable energies. DEEF is responsible for cantonal statistics and maintains the Commercial Register. It is active in housing policy and vocational training. DEEF also ensures the balance of the labour market and works towards the reintegration of job seekers. Finally, it oversees active land policy as well as the specialised higher education institutions of the canton of Fribourg.

Your missions
- Conduct the examination of appeals addressed to the Directorate
- Conduct investigations within the framework of HR procedures
- Draft administrative decision proposals
- Carry out legal research and provide legal opinions
- Provide legal advice to the Directorate’s administrative units
This position is attached to the General Secretariat and reports to the Legal Adviser of DEEF
Desired profile
- Master’s degree in law or equivalent training (a lawyer’s certificate is an asset)
- Several years’ experience in a similar role
- Registry experience desired, strong writing skills
- Knowledge of the functioning of Fribourg institutions, particularly the cantonal administration, and interest in this field
- Proficiency in common IT tools
- Fluent in French with good knowledge of German
