About the job
Would you like to help shape neuropediatrics professionally while independently running your own outpatient clinic? With our client, you can expect a versatile senior role with great scope for creativity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a centrally located workplace close to the train station.
Our client is an established acute care hospital with a broad medical care spectrum. Neuropediatrics is organisationally integrated into the Neurological Clinic and works closely with the Children's Clinic as well as other specialised departments. For diagnostics, an experienced EEG laboratory and neuropsychology are available, among others. Collaboration with paediatrics, neonatology, and paediatric surgery enables comprehensive care even for more complex conditions.
We are looking for a committed individual who, in addition to clinical work, enjoys further developing the neuropediatric services. The workplace is located directly at a train station and is very well accessible by public transport. The position is available immediately or by arrangement.
Your responsibilities:
- You independently run an outpatient neuropediatric clinic
- You provide consultative care for patients of the Children's Clinic in the inpatient area and in emergencies
- You further develop the neuropediatric services both professionally and organisationally
- You participate in the planning and implementation of training courses
- You work closely with neurology, paediatrics, neonatology, paediatric surgery, neuropsychology, and other specialist disciplines
- You actively contribute your ideas to the further development of the department and team collaboration
Your qualifications:
- You have the FMH specialisation in neuropediatrics or an equivalent recognised qualification
- You hold the FMH EEG certificate or an equivalent qualification
- You enjoy interdisciplinary work and value professional exchange with different occupational groups
- Patient- and family-centred care is a matter of course for you
- You speak German or French as your mother tongue and have at least A2 level in the other language
- You work independently, responsibly, and have an interest in the professional development of neuropediatrics
Your benefits:
- 60-100 % workload with opportunities for creativity within a specialised senior role
- Your own outpatient clinic combined with clinical consultative work
- Close interdisciplinary collaboration with several specialised departments
- Opportunity to actively develop neuropediatrics further
- Family-friendly conditions and attractive employment terms
- Excellent public transport connections with the workplace directly near the train station
