In this context, we are looking for one of our clients based in Geneva:
a Female / Male IT Project Manager
Context:
You will join the project management department, equipped with a portfolio of significant and large-scale projects, whose duration extends over several years. You will be responsible for part of these large-scale projects or a portfolio of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Project management: plan, execute, and finalize projects within the given deadlines and allocated budgets, while ensuring the achievement of objectives,
- Coordination and communication: work closely with technical teams, internal and external stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure good communication and coordination of activities,
- Performance monitoring: establish and monitor performance indicators to measure project progress and take corrective actions if necessary,
- Risk management: identify, assess, and manage risks associated with projects,
- Continuous improvement: contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools by identifying best practices and proposing innovative solutions.
Profile sought:
- Higher education degree in information systems combined with a certified project management training: Hermes, PMI, PSPO, PSM or equivalent,
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in project management in software design: planning, deliverable writing, stakeholder coordination, risk identification and management, communication, change management.
- Very good writing skills and excellent synthesis ability,
- Comfortable with public speaking, facilitating steering committee meetings and presentation and/or training sessions,
- Experienced in conducting work sessions, writing minutes, reporting, reformulating, and managing the request portfolio, etc.,
- Ability to collaborate with development teams, especially to understand and discuss technical components,
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies such as V-cycle and agile (Hermes, Agile, Scrum, Prince2, etc.) and project management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.),
- Proficient with office tools.
Additional skills:
- Functional and matrix management capability,
- Experience in information systems governance processes,
- Good understanding of German,
- Leadership, team spirit, synthesis skills, proactivity, good organization and priority management,
- Responsibility and autonomy in managing your files,
- Ability to collaborate, share knowledge, detect cross-cutting issues.
