YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Overall responsibility for depot, workshop, and infrastructure projects from the concept phase to handover to operations
- Management and coordination of all project participants during the planning, tendering, and implementation phases
- Preparation and support of tenders as well as evaluation and awarding of planning and construction services
- Leadership and coordination of external planning offices, architects, and specialist consultants
- Monitoring and control of general contractors and ensuring contract-compliant execution on site
- Ensuring compliance with schedule, cost, quality, and safety objectives
- Responsibility for approval and regulatory processes considering applicable legal requirements
- Conducting risk analyses, project controlling, and reporting to management and clients
- Support in the development of new service and maintenance locations as well as other infrastructure and investment projects
- Accompanying commissioning and handover to operational organisations
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed studies in civil engineering or comparable technical education
- Initial experience in planning and realising construction projects, ideally in the industrial, infrastructure, or transport sector
- Experience in collaboration with planning offices, architects, and specialist planners
- Initial experience in managing general contractors and external contractors is an advantage
- Good knowledge of relevant building regulations, standards, and approval procedures, especially in German-speaking countries
- Knowledge of German construction and procurement law (e.g. HOAI, VOB) is an advantage
- Strong project management, communication, and negotiation skills
- Fluent German and good English skills
- Willingness to travel within Europe
