Composites Specialist / Plastics Technologist

We are looking for our client, a renowned company in the Zurich Airport region (ZH), for an immediate start or by arrangement, a motivated and reliable individual as a Composites Specialist / Plastics Technologist.

Your tasks:

• Structural repair: Professional inspection, assessment and repair of damage to components made of fibre-reinforced materials (composites / CFRP / GRP).

• Processing: Working with prepregs, vacuum lay-ups and controlling curing processes in ovens or autoclaves.

• Modifications: Carrying out structural adjustments according to specified repair schemes and technical drawings.

Your profile:

• Professional qualification: Training as a Plastics Technologist with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ), plastics processor or panel beater/boat builder with strong plastics experience.

• Precision: Very clean working method, as even the smallest air inclusions can have fatal consequences in aviation.

• Understanding: Good ability to read technical drawings and chemical processing data sheets.
