What you are good at:

You know the special working situation regarding the workplace in a private household and have the sensitivity for the balance between closeness and distance.

You live in the same house as your future employer, in your own large room with a view of the wide nature and the starry sky above the Bernese Alps. You hand over the position every 3 months to a colleague and return after 3 months in rotation (3 x 3 months/year).

Your tasks: You keep the 4-room apartment clean, care for the clothes, shop and cook fresh from the market. You run errands and provide chauffeur services. You accompany on lovely excursions in the region (Emmental). You assist with mobilisation (aids are available). Your employer relies on a wheelchair and can move independently in it. An electronic towing device is available to support outings.

Important: This is NOT a care position; daily support is provided by Spitex at home. Training as a care assistant is very welcome.

Your profile:

• You bring passion, joy and experience for working as a housekeeper in a private household
• You have the talent to care for a person with a disability in their personal environment
• You speak good German
• You drive a car confidently
• You are strong in organisation and communicative

The remuneration is based on the NAV for domestic employees in the canton of Bern.
