Within EY-P, our Strategy & Transaction Execution Team offers a comprehensive portfolio of strategic consulting services – including corporate strategy, business model and target operating model design, M&A integrations, separations and transformations. Our team works cross-functionally and supports our clients throughout the entire strategy and transaction cycle. Our clients include renowned companies from the banking, wealth & asset management as well as the insurance industry.

Your main tasks

As part of our rapidly growing EY-Parthenon Strategy & Transaction Execution Team focusing on Financial Services clients, you will work closely with C-level executives in the financial sector to master strategic challenges, drive agile transformation processes and provide strategic support throughout the entire M&A lifecycle.

You will take on diverse and exciting tasks:

• Internship duration of 4-6 months (from August 2026)
• Structuring and analysing complex business problems
• Conducting primary and secondary research
• Creating financial models to assess strategic impacts
• Communicating and presenting solutions to internal and external stakeholders
• Active involvement in project acquisitions and publications
• Contributing to team and community building

What we are looking for

• You have completed your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking, Finance, Management, Economics or Natural Sciences and convince with outstanding achievements
• You want to complete an internship for a defined period and work in an exciting environment during your studies
• You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You have an articulate and clear communication style
• You are team-oriented and characterised by a proactive working style
• You have an entrepreneurial and performance-oriented mindset
• You feel comfortable in an international environment and can easily express yourself fluently in at least German and English, both spoken and written
