- Ensuring the smooth operation of the CA Gen development environment at AXA Switzerland in an international context
- Designing and developing systems using CA Gen
- Ensuring system integration and collaboration with other teams
- Consulting and supporting the execution of tests, troubleshooting, and optimizing client-server applications based on CA Gen
- Documenting system designs and processes
- Analyzing requirements and creating specifications for mainframe systems
- Installing and maintaining CA Gen and add-on tools
- Analyzing issues regarding performance and reliability
- Supporting the team with all topics related to the mainframe
- Regular work and on-call support during maintenance windows and application releases
Your Skills and Talents
Your Skills and Talents
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience as a Senior Mainframe System Engineer with a focus on CA Gen and add-on tools
- You possess solid knowledge in CICS, SQL (Db2), client-server architecture, and system engineering in z/OS and Windows environments
- You have experience with programming languages REXX, CLIST, COBOL, C
- Your additional knowledge in object-oriented application design, RACF (certificates, Kerberos), assembler, generally in the z/OS environment, and database systems is an advantage
- You are willing to provide production support, including occasional on-call duties in a high-availability environment, and have a strong customer orientation
- You speak fluent German and English
- You are motivated to work in a globally connected team
- You act as a committed and visionary team player and are able to collaborate in a complex environment and set priorities
- You are excited about working in an agile team
