As part of strengthening our Quality organization, we are recruiting a BU/MU Quality Engineer.
Reporting to the Production Unit Manager, you contribute to ensuring the compliance of products, processes, and activities of the Business Unit.
You play a key role in continuous improvement and supporting operational teams.
1. Quality Assurance & Compliance
Participate in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System.
Contribute to regulatory compliance (ISO 9001, sector standards, customer requirements…).
Write, update, and harmonize quality documents (procedures, instructions…).
Participate in the preparation and follow-up of internal and external audits.
2. Non-conformity Management & Performance
Analyze internal and external non-conformities.
Lead problem-solving methodologies (8D, FMEA, Ishikawa, PDCA…).
Monitor corrective and preventive action plans.
Build and update quality indicators (KPI, dashboards).
3. Support to Operational Teams
Provide methodological support to production, process, R&D, supply chain teams…
Participate in technical reviews and project meetings.
Contribute to product/process risk analysis.
Raise awareness and train staff on good quality practices.
4. Customer & Supplier Relations
Participate in handling customer complaints and associated communication.
Control supplier compliance and monitor quality actions.
Contribute to supplier evaluation, qualification, or audit.
Mastery of quality tools and methods: FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa, PDCA, audits…
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of industrial and/or technical processes.
Rigor, organizational skills, and priority management.
Interpersonal skills: ability to collaborate with field teams as well as managers.
Educational spirit to support, train, and raise awareness.
Proficiency in office tools (Excel, PowerPoint…) and ideally an ERP.
Knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001 or equivalent) and customer requirements.
Ability to lead continuous improvement actions and monitor KPIs.
Autonomy, proactivity, and a taste for teamwork.
Education Bac +5: engineering school or master focused on Quality, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
First experience in a quality role (including apprenticeship) in an industrial or technical environment.
Participation in quality or continuous improvement projects.
Practice of problem-solving, risk analysis, or Lean methods.
Experience in production, methods, process, or supply chain is a plus.
Knowledge of the operation of a quality management system (QMS).
