About the job
In the fight against cybercrime at the national and international level, you take responsibility for complex investigations. Put your expertise at the service of the unit and contribute to its development!
Your tasks
- Lead complex investigations in the field of cybercrime, requiring advanced technical skills and rigorous management of deadlines and administration
- Planning and operational conduct of engagements in close collaboration with the Digital Traces domain
- Analysis and exploitation of digital traces, and definition of targeted investigative measures
- International cooperation, including participation in meetings with foreign partner authorities, and drafting of international requests via European and global police networks (partially in English)
- Support, training, and specialized advice for the police force, as well as deepening specific areas (e.g., online research or cryptocurrencies)
Your profile
- Completed higher education in computer science, criminology, forensic sciences, law, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of computer science and, ideally, experience in the field of judicial police or security, or investigative journalism
- Strong analytical skills and ability to structure complex issues
- Fluency in written and spoken German as well as good knowledge of English
- High stress resistance, structured management of a large workload, and discretion in handling sensitive information, team spirit and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary cooperation and active knowledge transfer, as well as motivation to continuously improve in a rapidly evolving field
