For our Service Centre in Schlieren, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a technically skilled individual as IT Project Manager who leads IT projects to success with expertise and implementation strength. In this role, you take responsibility for the evaluation, planning and implementation of demanding infrastructure, workplace and unified communications projects across the entire Merbag Group, ensuring that technical solutions are transferred into operation in a practical, stable and sustainable manner.
Your Tasks
- Management and control of technical IT projects from initiation to operational handover
- Planning, coordination and implementation of rollouts at our locations
- Development of technical concepts, migration scenarios and rollout plans
- Conducting proof-of-concepts, feasibility studies and solution evaluations
- Coordination of internal departments, suppliers, integration partners and manufacturers
- Responsibility for deadlines, costs, quality and transparent project communication
- Support of infrastructure renewals, modernisation projects and technology replacements
- Ensuring clean documentation and sustainable handover to operations
Your Profile
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or comparable technical education
- Further training in computer science, business informatics or project management is an advantage
- Several years of experience in the implementation or management of infrastructure, workplace or unified communications projects
- Sound knowledge in several of the following technology areas:
- Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, etc.)
- Unified Communications and Collaboration solutions (Microsoft Teams, Innovaphone or comparable platforms)
- Network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, WLAN)
- Server, storage and virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server)
- Client and endpoint management (Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager)
- Cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructures, especially in the Microsoft environment
- IT security, identity & access management as well as security operations (e.g. EDR/XDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, conditional access and zero-trust concepts)
- Ability to communicate technical matters clearly and appropriately for the audience
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- High personal responsibility, implementation strength and a pronounced quality awareness
- Very good German and English skills
- French or Italian skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel domestically and abroad (approx. 10–20%)
- Driving licence category B
