Head of Finance + Office
Do you have experience in managing cost and performance accounting in the public administration? In this exciting role, you take responsibility in the environment of the client representation of the Canton of Zurich – together with 160 committed colleagues.
Your tasks
- You are responsible for the entire accounting, with the focus of your work on cost and performance accounting. You coordinate and communicate the budget including long-term planning, interim reports, the annual financial statement, and the office's business report.
- You take an active role in the management team staff, steer cross-departmental topics and interfaces, and independently advise the department management as well as the executive management on financial and administrative issues.
- You ensure a high quality of service, position the specialist unit as a central hub within the organization, and drive the digitization and automation of financial and administrative processes forward.
- You are responsible for the internal control system (ICS) and the time recording system ProTime.
- You lead the Finance + Office specialist unit with three employees and one apprentice.
Your profile
- You have a tertiary degree in business administration or an equivalent qualification.
- You have solid, several years of professional and leadership experience and ideally experience with SAP in the public sector or administration.
- You think strategically and at the same time get involved in operational business.
- You value constructive collaboration with all parties involved, work independently, and are characterized by good communication skills.
