Have you established yourself broadly in radiology and do not want to be pushed into a narrow specialisation?
In this regional acute hospital, you will take responsibility in diagnostic radiology and work closely with clinical questions. You will benefit from modern infrastructure, direct exchange with the specialist departments, and a shift model that is noticeably relieved by nocturnal teleradiology.
The acute hospital has around 130 beds and offers comprehensive medical care in the Swiss Midlands. Radiology is closely integrated into clinical care and works directly with the hospital's specialist departments as well as with external referrers.
The institute is modernly equipped with two 1.5-Tesla MRI systems including Deep Resolve Boost, two CT scanners including dual-energy technology, as well as conventional radiology, ultrasound, mammography and fluoroscopy. Additionally, AI-supported reporting assistance is used.
Your tasks:
- Independent reporting of radiological examinations in MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography, fluoroscopy and conventional radiology
- Clinically oriented radiological assessment of outpatient and inpatient patients
- Participation in interdisciplinary reports, case discussions and clinical decision-making processes
- Direct professional exchange with clinical departments as well as external referrers
- Supervision and professional support of assistant doctors in their daily training
- Participation in internal training sessions as well as selected specialist and public lectures
Your skills:
- Specialist title in radiology, recognised in Germany or the EU (we support you with recognition in Switzerland)
- Enjoyment of diagnostic radiology with broad clinical relevance
- Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-centred reporting
- Willingness to professionally accompany and develop assistant doctors
- Independent, structured and responsible way of working
- Team-oriented personality who actively contributes to the daily life of the institute
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
