Syrian family with status F AS
From 15.2.2017, a family of four will move into the school facility Falter in Oberwil-Lieli
- or the caretaker's apartment, Schulhausstrasse 90. The couple with their two daughters (born in 2002 and 2005) are already warmly welcomed today.
Asylum system: still needed goods
In response to our call in the Wochenfalter on 13.1.2017, we were inundated with a huge range of offers regarding the reception of the family from Syria. Once again, thank you very much for everything. Currently, we still need curtains or fabric for them and a brave little tailor.

Siren test 2017
On Wednesday afternoon, February 1, 2017, from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, the annual control of the
alarm sirens will take place throughout Switzerland - including in our municipality. No behavioral and protective measures need to be taken.
During the siren test, the functionality of the stationary and mobile
sirens will be tested, which alert residents in case of disasters and emergencies or in
the event of an armed conflict. The signal
"General Alarm" will be triggered: A regularly rising and falling tone lasting one minute.
If the signal "General Alarm" sounds outside the announced siren test, it means that there is a potential threat to the population. In this case, the population is urged to listen to the radio, follow the instructions of the
authorities, and inform neighbors.
Information and behavioral rules can be found on pages 680 and 681 in the teletext as well as on the internet at www.sirenentest.ch
The siren test serves not only to technically check the siren infrastructure but also to inform and raise awareness among the population regarding behavior during a siren alarm.

Nitrate sample / Drinking water examination
As part of periodic self-checks, the Regional Water Association Mutschellen (RWVM) took samples in November 2016. The nitrate content is above the quality target. No measures were necessary.
Official examination report drinking water
On 6.7.2016, the periodic inspection of the water supply took place. The municipality received the report on 23.12.2016 from the Office for Consumer Protection of the Department of Health and Social Affairs. The report indicates, among other things, that the numerous sampling and facilities are in order.
We thank the well master Emanuel Koller - and the entire works team for their clean work.
