Medical Assistant at DISA - Adolescent Consultation
To complete its team, the Interdisciplinary Adolescent Health Division (DISA) is seeking a medical assistant at 80%, on a permanent contract. The starting date is scheduled for 1 December 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Woman-Mother-Child Department (DFME) brings together the Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Neonatology, Paediatrics, and Paediatric Surgery Services. More than 1,500 professionals provide comprehensive care for women and children.
The Interdisciplinary Adolescent Health Division (DISA) is a specialised consultation dedicated to young people aged 12 to 20. It offers multidisciplinary care around various issues such as overall health, sexual health, eating disorders, and other adolescent-specific challenges.
Mission
- You ensure a quality welcome for patients and their families, informing, advising, and, if necessary, directing them to appropriate resources
- You participate in the administrative management of the consultation: appointment scheduling, planning of examinations, interventions, and summons
- You provide administrative support to the various professionals of the division
- You perform delegated medical-technical acts, such as blood sampling, injections, urine tests, and ECGs
- You ensure the maintenance, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilisation of consultation equipment.
Profile
- You hold a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a medical assistant or an equivalent qualification
- You enjoy contact with adolescents and know how to adapt your communication to their needs
- You demonstrate rigour, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage priorities
- You are a good listener, discreet, autonomous, flexible, and enjoy teamwork
- You have good stress resistance
- You are proficient with common computer tools
- Experience in a group practice and/or with adolescents is an asset.
Depending on your profile, the salary scale is between levels 5 and 6.
