The Primary School District Worb, consisting of six school buildings and five kindergartens, includes locations in the villages of Worb Dorf, Enggistein, and Richigen.
The approximately 510 enrolled students are taught by 70 motivated teachers in well-coordinated teams across 5 kindergarten, 2 basic level, and 19 primary classes.
The Primary School District Worb has been led by a team of three school leaders since this school year. The tasks and responsibilities are clearly defined.
As a school leader will take on a new challenge after the first semester, we are looking for a

Responsibilities
- School leadership tasks according to the Public School Act, LAG, and LAV
- Ideally, taking over both areas of activity in personal union
- Personnel and professional leadership (regular teaching as well as MR area)
- Member of the Worb School Leadership Conference (7 members)
- Joint leadership responsibility for operational and pedagogical issues and school development
Requirements
- Completed school leadership training (or willingness to complete it)
- Experience as a school leader at a public school or leadership experience in a comparable institution is an advantage
- Familiarity with the Bernese school system and teaching experience at the primary level
- Comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge in the area of MR Canton Bern
- Inspiring leadership personality: authentic, solution-oriented

- Structured and efficient work while maintaining high flexibility
- High social and communication skills
- Confident handling in the area of ICT
