Civil Engineering Internship
Your mission
Assigned to the Network Sector unit, you will support our Transport Engineer during the industrialisation phase of deploying traffic light management measures and junction reprogramming.
Your main responsibilities
- structure, automate and enhance the monitoring of commercial speed indicators before and after the deployed measures,
- create interactive dashboards by identifying the most relevant indicators necessary to evaluate the impact of applied network policies,
- produce analysis reports for the main measures deployed during the internship period.
Your profile
- Student at EPFL or equivalent in civil engineering specialised in transport, or equivalent training in mobility,
- strong interest in mobility issues and the transport sector,
- good data handling skills (pandas, SQL or equivalent),
- ability to develop interactive visualisation interfaces (Streamlit, Dash or equivalent),
- advanced proficiency in Python (data processing, visualisation, pipeline automation),
- autonomy and proactivity,
- analytical skills,
- good communication skills and ability to present technical results to a professional audience,
- very good knowledge of Excel.
