Head of Gastronomy (m/f) 80-100% (day operation)
Your tasks
- You lead around 20 people professionally and personally
- You ensure the smooth operation in the production kitchen, the Ahorn restaurant, and the catering stations of the care department
- In addition to developing the culinary offer and its calculation in cooperation with the head chef, you also take over the design of the menu and drink cards
- You promote a continuous improvement process by analyzing, optimizing, and efficiently designing workflows
- You actively drive the optimization and further development of our product range and bring in new ideas and trends
- Active participation in service
- You take over the purchasing of goods and are responsible for inventory management
- You plan and coordinate celebrations and banquets
- Implementation of the gastronomy concept of the Senevita Group
- You ensure cooperative collaboration with other departments and areas
- Responsibility for the proper accounting of the gastronomy cash register and for the monthly closing in the gastronomy area
- Conducting weekly, monthly, and annual meetings with employees
- Motivation and promotion of employees
- Organization and implementation of training for employees
- Active participation in department head meetings and morning meetings
- As part of the management team, you are responsible for smooth operations
- Together with the leadership team, you take responsibility for projects, events, and special occasions
What you bring
- Training as a restaurant specialist and the professional certificate as a restaurant manager or graduation from hotel management school HF
- Ideally, you have a catering license
- Proven leadership skills through training and experience in a comparable position
- You are a host/hostess with heart and soul and make our guests' stay an unforgettable experience
- At events, you enthusiastically take the lead, keep an overview, and ensure everything runs smoothly
- You bring solid experience in gastronomy or hospitality and combine your expertise with creativity and passion
- You have a high IT affinity and are proficient with common programs for menu planning, calculation, and duty scheduling
- As a strong leader, you lead by example with your team, promote talents, and strengthen cohesion
- You are diplomatic, discreet, and have a good sense for elderly people
