Category Manager (Upholstery, Living, Garden and Online)
You take on the personnel, professional, and financial overall responsibility for your assigned product group area (upholstery, living, garden, sofa beds, club and side tables, as well as the online-only assortment).
Together with the team, you further develop the assortment strategy in your area and consistently implement it based on the company strategy, current market trends, and business management key figures.
You design effective marketing concepts and successfully implement them – cross-channel and target group-oriented.
Through continuous optimization of the purchasing strategy and professional supplier management, you ensure the competitiveness and attractiveness of your assortment.
You actively manage and maintain the assortment and ensure an inspiring and sales-strong presentation at the point of sale as well as in the online shop.
You work closely with relevant internal interfaces such as management, sales, marketing, e-commerce, and logistics to realize holistic solutions.
In an international procurement environment, you profitably contribute your market knowledge and actively represent pfister within the purchasing alliance.
Degree / advanced technical school in business administration, marketing, purchasing, or comparable
Many years of experience in category management at a furniture store or in the lifestyle environment
Extensive experience in the online business area
Know-how in conducting negotiations with international suppliers and constant optimization of internal processes
You have a good understanding of customer wishes and can optimally design your strategy for your area of responsibility within the framework of the company's positioning
Leadership experience combined with the ability to inspire others for the entrepreneur's strategy
Assertiveness and know-how in conducting negotiations
Willingness to travel (visiting branches, suppliers, and trade fairs)
Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form, French skills are a great plus
