Head of Service (m/f/d)

SIGNAL AG is a full-service provider of products, systems, and services for signaling, information, parking management, marking, and traffic control, employing a total of 280 employees at its headquarters in Büren an der Aare and in 9 market areas in Switzerland.

To strengthen our team at the headquarters in Büren an der Aare, we are looking for a Head of Service 100% (m/f/d) starting immediately.

Your tasks

• Leadership and organization of the service and commissioning department
• Responsibility for Customer Care Management: further development, digitization, and automation of processes and services (building a service tool and integrating CRM)
• Co-development of smart services
• Technical support, development, and deployment planning of service technicians
• Acceptance and processing of support requests
• Provision, testing, and configuration of barrier and access systems (bollards, barriers, etc.), changeable signals, LED displays, active and interactive guidance systems, and electronic assemblies
• Coordination of interfaces with product management, sales, and internal sales

Your profile

• Completed training, e.g., as an electrician, electromechanic, automation technician, mechatronics technician, etc., and possibly higher technical school (electrical engineering, automation, IoT)
• Proven professional and leadership experience
• Strong leadership skills and a team player at the same time
• Conceptually strong with an affinity for technology and software
• Driver's license category B
• Native German or French speaker with very good oral skills in the other language
