The Building Permits team of the city of Uster is a well-coordinated team responsible for the execution and examination of building applications, consulting, and accompanying construction projects.

Project Manager for Building Permits 90-100%
Your main tasks
- Process management in the municipal building permit procedure
- Coordination with project authors, cantonal authorities, municipal administrative offices, and external specialists
- Business and deadline control
- Assessment of construction projects and preliminary decision requests
- Considering and deciding on legal questions
- Independently drafting corresponding decisions (city council resolutions/decisions)
- Preliminary discussions of construction projects
- Legal advice and support for construction projects
- Special tasks such as processing projects related to the building permit procedure
What you bring
- Degree from a university of applied sciences in architecture or an equivalent qualification
- Training or basic knowledge in construction law and/or the willingness to continue education
- Experience in an architecture or engineering office or in administration
- Knowledge about collaboration with administrative offices
- Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
- Good PC user skills
- Good knowledge of M365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat, PDF-XChange, etc.)
- Knowledge of CMI is an advantage
- Knowledge in digital processes or artificial intelligence is an advantage
