Ensure electricity in Switzerland
In this exciting position, you will create strategies, policies, standards, and technical specifications for managing the entire lifecycle of overhead lines. You will take on the following tasks:
- Creating technical standards, strategies, policies and guidelines, technical specifications, and framework contracts for managing the entire lifecycle of future or rehabilitated overhead lines
- Monitoring asset performance and analyzing issues from overhead line disruptions, as well as risk-oriented definition of measures
- Advising project teams on technical issues with strategic implications, as well as on previously unresolved issues and the associated knowledge transfer back into the technical standards
- Advising asset managers on questions regarding fault rectification
- Representing Swissgrid in the area of activity towards grid connection partners and neighboring TSOs, as well as in national and international technical committees

For this responsible position, we are looking for you as a communicative and structured personality. You enjoy thinking in networks and developing cooperative solutions for different needs and requirements. In addition, you bring the following:
- Completed engineering degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent; additional training in business administration, asset management, or project management is an advantage
- Several years of experience in asset management and project engineering, and in-depth expertise in the construction, operation, and maintenance of overhead lines
- Ideally, you have knowledge of the legal framework conditions of energy network infrastructure, especially in the area of line construction
- Fluent and negotiation-level German or French skills, with advanced knowledge in the other language and good English skills
