Technical Product Manager Sensors Railway Applications (a)

• Active management of the product portfolio of the Business Unit Railway in the role of product specialist from product introduction to phase-out
• Responsible for the positioning and further development of the portfolio of speed sensors
• Creation and initiation of business cases, as well as commissioning product developments
• Management of customer-specific projects and qualification of sensors with sub-system suppliers
• Procurement and evaluation of market and competitive information
• Technical support and training of customers and sales staff

• Completed technical studies (Bachelor / Master of Science), possibly supplemented by business management training
• Several years of professional experience in the technical field
• Expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: electronics, mechanics, software and functional safety, experience in product development and innovation processes
• Strong flair for commercial topics such as calculations and business cases
• Confident communication in German and English
