About the job
The Laboratory Assistant performs analyses to certify the quality of finished products, measure the site's environmental impact, optimise the various production stages daily and evaluate new development opportunities for the site.
What to expect!
Certify the quality of finished products by carrying out rigorous analyses and ensuring compliance with established standards
Perform routine analyses with precision and reliability
Participate in analyses of specific products from our depots
Participate in environmental analyses of the groundwater to ensure environmental protection
Collect gas samples directly from our production units
Actively engage in achieving the laboratory's quality and safety objectives
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and best practices
You bring
A Federal VET Diploma as a laboratory technician (physical, biological or chemical) or equivalent training
Excellent knowledge of French; knowledge of English or German is an asset
You master common analytical methods (titration, GC, UV/vis spectroscopy, physico-chemical)
Experience in handling hazardous products (flammable, toxic)
Good command of common IT tools and ideally first experience using a quality system
You possess
Excellent ability to work rigorously and independently
Great flexibility and ability to adapt to team working hours
Exemplary commitment to respecting health and safety procedures and standards
Strong analytical skills and great precision in performing your tasks
Excellent organisation and a keen sense of structure in your work
Shift hours
Working hours are on a 5-week rotation
one week from 5:30 am to 1:45 pm
three weeks from 7:15 am to 4:15 pm
one week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
one weekend from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm once every 5 weeks
