Your Tasks
- Lecturer teaching in the Medical Technology | Life Sciences degree program
- Design and implementation of courses in initial and continuing education in the field of medical device development
- Supervision of student theses (Bachelor and Master)
- Acquisition of student theses from the medical technology industry
- Further development of continuing education offerings in the field of medical device development
- Establishment and expansion of service offerings in the field of medical device development
- Possibly collaboration and support in research projects
Your Profile
- University degree with a doctorate in a natural science subject
- Many years of extensive industry experience in medical technology
- Sound knowledge and professional experience in the areas of ISO 14971 (risk management) and EN62366-1 (usability)
- Knowledge of IEC 62304 (Health Software: Software Life Cycle Processes) is an advantage
- Good knowledge and experience in the areas of regulation, market access, quality management, product development and/or clinical research in the medical technology industry
- Teaching experience at university level desired
- Good German and English skills, spoken and written
- The position is particularly suitable for experienced employees of a medical technology company who are looking for a part-time position at a university as a second career
