Biomedical Technician
80-100 %

Your mission:

• Ensure the operation and preventive and corrective maintenance of medical devices
• Ensure the integration of medical devices into the HFR IT network
• Manage and install software related to medical devices
• Implement and apply legal regulations (MDR)
• Assist and advise medical services in the use of medical devices
• Carry out administrative tasks and documentation related to the mission

Your profile:

• Technical Federal VET Certificate, preferably biomedical
• Knowledge of medical devices and the hospital environment is an advantage
• Advanced IT knowledge
• Curious, proactive and committed personality with the ability to work in a team
• Personal willingness for self-training and strong customer service orientation
• Proficiency in office tools (especially Word and Excel)
• Knowledge of CMMS; "Waveware" is considered an advantage
• Proficiency in French or German with good knowledge of the other language is desired, knowledge of English is an advantage

Tasks

• You ensure the operation and maintenance (prevention and troubleshooting) of medical devices.
• You guarantee the integration of medical devices into the HFR IT network.
• You manage and install software related to medical devices.
• You implement and apply legal regulations (MDR).
• You support and advise the medical departments regarding the use of medical devices.
• You take care of administrative tasks and documentation related to your activity.

Profile

• Federal VET Certificate with a technical focus, preferably in medical technology
• Knowledge of medical devices and hospital environment is an advantage
• Advanced IT skills
• Interested, proactive and committed attitude, ability to work in a team
• Willingness to self-educate, strong customer and service orientation
• Proficiency in common office programmes (especially Word and Excel)
• Knowledge of maintenance software (CMMS) "Waveware" is an advantage
• German or French with good knowledge of the other language, English skills are an advantage
