Tasks

• Management of the tax administration in the area of tax collection and tax register
• Representation of the municipality in tax matters
• Participation in the annual financial statement (taxes), budget and tax planning
• Monitoring of the register management for natural and legal persons
• Organisational and professional management of the (legal) debt collection of the city
• Decisions on objections in the collection procedure
• Management of an external accounting
• Responsibility for the proper collection of special taxes (dog tax, city tax, etc.)
• Support of the financial administrator in reporting and controlling tasks
• Participation in cantonal working groups
• Projects
• Leading a team (4 persons)

Expectations

• Completed commercial or equivalent training
• Professional certificate in accounting (fiduciary specialist certificate, specialist in finance and accounting, etc.)
• Several years of experience in tax administration
• Good expertise in debt collection
• Good IT skills
• Knowledge of tax software (Dialog / NEST) is an advantage
• Communicative, team-oriented
