About the job
At the Heilpädagogisches Zentrum Hohenrain, children and young people with special support needs are holistically accompanied and supported in their individual development. Together with a committed, interdisciplinary team, you will create a varied daily routine in which the children can develop their skills, gain independence and build confidence in their own strengths.
Your tasks
- You take over the leadership of a committed team of five employees and share responsibility with them for a residential group with 6-8 children aged 6 to 12 years.
- With your expertise, you contribute to the individual support planning of the children and ensure professional reporting according to ICF.
- In close cooperation with the department head, you promote the further development of your team and supervise students and interns.
- You shape the interdisciplinary collaboration with teachers, therapists, parents and authorities cooperatively and solution-oriented.
- If necessary, you take on night presence as well as occasional weekend or holiday duties.
Your profile
- You have completed training in social pedagogy HF/FH and have experience in leading a small team. Training as a practical trainer is an advantage.
- You enjoy supporting children with disabilities and approach them with empathy, patience and openness.
- With your open, supportive attitude, you lead your team on an equal footing.
- You bring heart, humour and commitment to everyday life, creating a positive environment for the children and your team.
- You think in networks, act solution-oriented and confidently use digital tools in your daily work.
