Internship in the Areas of Child/Family and Youth

We are a lively church at the beautiful Pfäffikersee with diverse offerings in the areas of youth and child/family. During the internship, you can further discover your skills and test them in our settings. In an independently conducted internship project (accompanied), you will gain leadership experience.

Then we could be your place for a one-year internship from summer 2026 - summer 2027! 
Various & versatile projects await you. You will be able to contribute in many ways. During the internship, you can get to know yourself better, discover strengths and weaknesses, apply skills, and try something out. One project will be your own. In this, you will get a taste of project management.

Possible tasks 

Offers in the area of Child & Family: 
• Project tasks such as: Christmas musical, wooden construction world, summer camp etc. with children 
• Regular offers such as: Spaghetti meeting, children’s church for kids, Sunset taste&praise 

Offers in the youth area: 
• Regular offers in open youth work (JA): upper school meeting, middle school meeting 
• Offers in church youth work: youth service one Eighty, small groups, confirmation unit, Conf+ 
• Snowcamp, confirmation camp 

General: 

• Deployment according to your skills (organizational, creative, musical, athletic) 
• Administration, flyer design, social media 
• Infrastructure maintenance: tidying up, mopping, sometimes mowing the lawn, cleaning the van. 

This gives you an idea of what to expect. Some tasks are fixed. For others, we can find out in conversation what interests you, where you want to get involved, and what you do not want to do.

Who are we? Pamela Schmid leads the "Child & Family" area with 50% and will guide you in the children's area. Lukas Peter, 80% responsible for "Youth", is your main contact person and will guide you in the youth area. You will also work with Marisa Fernandez (social deacon in training) in the youth area. Pamela, Marisa, and Lukas belong to the social diaconate team within the Reformed Church.
