About the job
The Winterthur City Police, with around 250 employees, works daily to ensure safety and quality of life in a trustworthy Winterthur. The Special Service/Environmental Police handles demanding casework as well as criminal procedural coercive measures in various legal areas. To complement our team in the Special Service/Environmental Police department, we are looking for a motivated police officer to start immediately or by arrangement. - Handling cases in the area of weapons matters, including the issuance of weapon acquisition permits (WES)
- Handling cases in the area of environmental police, especially environmental offences, animal protection, and control of the transit site for travellers
- Carrying out official and enforcement assistance (e.g. veterinary office or in connection with emissions)
Your Profile
- Completed training as a police officer
- Hunting exam and experience in intervention are an advantage
- Strong team skills
- Willingness for professional further training
- Interest/experience in specialised fields
