About the job
Do you enjoy clinical work but desire an environment with more predictable shifts, short distances, and genuine quality of life outside the typical big city or maximum care provider routine?
This modern regional hospital in Central Switzerland combines a broad anaesthesiological spectrum with a family-like team, manageable structures, and a region where professional and private life truly remain compatible.
Embedded in the impressive mountain landscape of Central Switzerland and only about five minutes from the lake, this modern regional hospital offers a working environment with a high quality of life. Thanks to new construction, employees benefit from contemporary infrastructure, short distances, and efficient processes. As an extended basic care provider, the hospital covers a wide surgical spectrum; around 3,000 anaesthesias are performed annually in anaesthesia in a varied elective operating theatre routine as well as in emergency operations.
Your responsibilities:
- Anaesthesiological care of elective procedures as well as participation in emergency operations
- Preoperative assessments including risk evaluation and perioperative management
- Administration of general and regional anaesthesia
- Co-care of patients in intensive and monitoring medical settings within the duty system
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with surgery, internal medicine, and other specialist departments
- Contribution to clinical standards and further development of anaesthesiological procedures within the team
Your skills:
- Specialist title in anaesthesiology (German or EU recognised, support with recognition through Medimeo)
- Experience in acute clinical settings and confidence in general and regional anaesthesia
- Enjoyment of broad clinical activity in a regional hospital
- Structured, responsible, and team-oriented working style
- Knowledge in intensive care medicine and/or pain therapy is advantageous but not required
- Very good German language skills and appreciative communication style
Your benefits:
- Plannable part-time workload (60-80%) - ideal for family and leisure
- Modern infrastructure and contemporary work equipment
- Flat hierarchies, short communication paths, and collegial cooperation
- Independent work with a team that supports each other
- Pure quality of life: mountains, lake, outdoor sports, and nature right on your doorstep
Medimeo personally accompanies you throughout the entire process - from the initial assessment through application and interview preparation to contract signing. We also support you with the recognition of your diplomas (MEBEKO) as well as with all organisational questions regarding the move to Switzerland (e.g. permits, relocation, insurance, and settling in).
